and you are?”
    “I’m Miranda. N-n-nice to meet you. I’ve heard so much about you.”
    “Oh well, I hope all good and nothing naughty. Anyway, take all the time you need out here. I’m sorry you got heated and I’ll tell staff to check the temperatures inside. It’s a lot of people here, so I can understand if you got your own climate change. Tootles! And nice meeting you, Miranda.”
    “Nice meeting you, Edgar.”
    I call a taxi to pick me up urgently. I remain on the balcony until I see the car pull up out front and I run out of the house without confronting Kye or anyone else. How do I end up with the same cab driver?
    * * * *
    On the drive home, I pull Alastair’s business card from my purse. I call his number from my cell phone. Getting no answer, I assume he is still at the bar. I know of no other male to call tonight to try and prove that I'm still straight. Leaving no message on his voice mail, I hang up. As soon as the driver reaches my house, Alastair calls me back. I pay the driver as I answer my cell phone. The driver sits and listens to my conversation.
    “Hi, yes, Alastair, it’s me, Miranda, from the Eagle.”
    “Ah yes, Miranda, it’s so good to hear from you. I never expected a call.”
    “Well, I didn’t ever expect to call you, but I am wondering if you will come by my house for a drink tonight. I would love to have you.”
    “I would never turn down such an invitation from a beautiful young woman. Give me the address and I’m on my way pronto.”
    Alastair notes my address as the nosey cab driver just sits there looking at me with a smirk on his face. I drop his fare on the seat. He picks up the bills then speaks while looking at me in the rear view mirror.
    “What happened at the party?” he asks. “Were there not enough playgirl bunny rabbits to go around? Or perhaps you are not dyke after all. Alastair is not female as I can hear by his voice on the phone. Hmm! So, you are planning a hot night with a male and not a female. Strange! But, then again, you may just make it a party and invite a girl too. Hmm!”
    I exit the car while the driver is commenting. Coming back down from cloud nine, I lift my purse to smash his face through the open window, but he skids off in his car.
    “That nosey, smart-mouth cabby almost got clobbered,” I say out loud.
    As I turn the key to my door, I realize that I just gave an invitation to a complete stranger to visit me at my home. He is possibly not even a US citizen. What am I doing?
    Throw caution to the wind , keeps echoing inside of my head. After hearing the words repeatedly, I become confident and determined to quench the thirst with someone who thinks I’m gay instead of someone who is indeed gay like Mylee and Ginger. Getting into the shower and after a short, but thorough rinse, I grab the sexiest lingerie I can find. I lotion up and put on perfume. I meet Alastair at the door looking sexy and alluring. We both get out of our clothes in a matter of minutes. Grabbing his lips with mine, I am on a mission to prove that I love sex with males and that I do not want to have sex with women.
    We are in bed and instantaneously naked and on fire. No words between us, we both know what my earlier phone call to him was about. I am on my back kissing Alastair, wild with passion. I am on fire with the need for him to enter me. We roll around on my bed clinging to each other’s lips. We lock together like a bolt to a socket, each of us needing to be extinguished. I end up on top of him, clenching his ripped chest as I glide on his hardness with pleasure. I look down into his burning eyes. His body is pushing into mine as if he is putting all of his lust into me. We are on the same mission and that is to quench the lust we experienced throughout the night. I see Ginger and Mylee in my head. I feel the women at the Eagle's Nest pawing my body and kissing me. Reminiscing is surely assisting my efforts with Alastair because he is moaning with pure
