    He stood there for a moment, and then sighed. “Very well.” He went to the wall by the door, and pressed a button. She heard nothing, but to her mortification, a few moments later, two doms entered. Like Master Dan, they were both tall and very muscular. They both wore black jeans and expensive-looking dress shirts with the sleeves rolled up. One of them had stubble. It suited him. The younger of the two was Native American. They looked from Master Dan to her defensive posture, taking the measure of the situation immediately.
     
    Sam backed away into the furthest corner of the room, her heart hammering out of her chest, her paper gown flapping open. She stumbled a little, and bumped into the wall.
     
    “She’s suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and a severe headache. She needs urgent medical attention, but she’s agitated and resisting,” said Master Dan.
     
    “What can we do?” said the one with the stubble. He didn’t sound angry or scary, just concerned.
     
    “I need a hand to get a rectal temp, and possibly administer a little medication,” said Master Dan.
     
    This must have come about because he’d taken note of the way she’d responded when he’d threatened the rectal swab, but hadn’t had the guts to push for it. Now he was giving her another chance.
     
    “Sure thing,” said the dom. He glanced at his companion, and they both began to advance on her.
     
    She flattened herself against the wall. Ocean. Ocean. Ocean.
     
    About ten feet away, they stopped.
     
    “She’s terrified,” said the dom with the stubble. “What’s her name?”
     
    “Sam,” said Master Dan. “She’s a person of interest in a high level criminal investigation. As part of her processing and interrogation I’ve had to conduct a deep cavity search and ask some difficult questions. She’s feeling unwell, and so requires an extremely thorough medical examination whilst she’s in custody.”
     
    Sam’s face burned as he spoke matter-of-factly of some of her darkest, most private kinks and desires, things she’d never dream of sharing with anyone she actually knew. There was nothing in their reactions, however, to make her feel remotely embarrassed or judged. They’d seen it all, no doubt, and simply enjoyed indulging their clients’ fantasies.
     
    “I see,” said the dom with the stubble, coming on board with the scene without missing a beat. “Has she been cooperative up to now?”
     
    Master Dan glanced at her and smiled. “On and off. She’s just received her first enemas, and is a little upset with me, which I believe is what’s prompted this reaction to the thermometer.”
     
    “Sam,” said the one with the stubble. “My name is Master Jake, and this here,” he gestured to his friend, “is Master Will. We understand that you’re feeling very vulnerable and frightened, and we don’t want to make it worse for you. If you get back on that table right now, I promise that Master Will and I will leave as though nothing happened.”
     
    She just couldn’t. Something in her compelled her to rebel, to push them. She’d never been one to back down in the face of authority. Sometimes you just had to challenge it to get to the good stuff, but something else was bubbling up inside her too, a feeling, an emotion that felt far more dangerous. She ignored it. “Don’t come near me. Just go.”
     
    “Nice try, buddy,” said Master Dan.
     
    They fanned out, each approaching her from a different direction. She made a break for it, but Master Will caught her first, and the others were on her in seconds. All at once, everything she’d struggled so hard to keep in check exploded, catching her utterly unprepared. She screamed out some nonsense and fought wildly, pitting her strength against theirs, finally able to give the pent-up anxiety, frustration, sadness, and terror of the past months both a voice and a physical outlet.
