long sleeve light gray shirt showed off the well-define muscles. She walked to him and wrapped her arms around his hard stomach and laid her cheek on his back.
“This is the worst neighborhood in the city. Why don’t you have you r soon to be ex-husband get you something better? He can afford it.”
Her heart sank, was that what he thought of her? That she was someone that would live off of someone else? She let her hands drop away from him and took a step back, he turned around. “I don’t need him and most of all, I don’t need his money. I know that I live in a bad neighborhood, I’m not blind.”
Stefan scrunched his eyebrows together. “Okay , I didn’t mean to make you mad, I just want to make sure you are okay,” he said and took her hands into his. “Can we sit and talk?”
His hazel green eyes begged her, and she sighed. “Fine do you want a beer?”
“Sure,” he replied and she forced herself away from him.
She wasn’t joking before . When he was close to her she couldn’t think straight. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed two cold beers. He was sitting on her ugly couch and she walked to him; he looked up at her and smiled. He made her heart race when he stared as if he was undressing her with his heated gaze. She turned her attention to her beer because she had to look away from his penetrating stare. “What do you want to talk about?” She sat down as far away from him as she could. Even though they’d just shared an amazing moment together she was anxious in what he wanted to talk about.
“Gretch, we need to talk about what we are expecting will happen between us. I am not a forever kind of guy, never have been and never will be.”
She looked up at him because she heard something like sorrow in his voice and she wanted to know why he wasn’t a forever kind of guy. Truth was she wasn’t looking for that kind of guy, not right now at least. She was going through one of the hardest things in her life, and she thought it would be nice to release some of that stress with the man sitting next to her. “I’m not looking for a forever kind of guy, not now at least. I want to have fun, and experience life and not have to worry that my man is at home worrying about me. I’m going through a divorce that will be demanding on me, my soon to be ex will fight me tooth and nail to keep me. I just want someone I can burn my tension on.”
S he looked up at him as he took a drink of beer. “So what you are saying is you want a fuck buddy.” He arched a dark eyebrow at her, and she swallowed her beer.
“I guess that is what I want. I don’t want to sound like a slut, but my husband has been all I’ve ever known until you. I just want to be free for a little while to see what it feels like.” She watched him lean forward and set his beer down on the coffee table.
“I don’t think you are a slut, but what you are telling me is that you want to have the chance to be with other guys.” He leaned back into the couch and stared at her.
“Well , no. I really don’t want to sleep with every guy I meet, but I don’t want to be tied down again, at least not right away.” She never took her eyes away from his hazel green eyes.
“Okay , so we’re fuck buddies?” he arched a dark eye brow at her and she wondered if he plucked them because they looked too perfect not to be.
“Hmm…I don’t like t hat title it makes me feel sluty. How about we just call us friends that enjoy each other? And maybe sometime later we can be more.” She bit her bottom lip, she didn’t want anyone else and hoped she was enough for him.
He smiled at her and reached out to tuck her hair behind ear. He brushed the tips of his fingers against her cheek, and she shuddered. “I sure hope you aren’t friendly with everyone like you are with me. I like you and I am so happy I found you again.”
When he was this close to her, she couldn’t think straight she wanted to have his lips and tongue all over her
