around
to open my door.
                Collins
joined me, took my arm, and walked me to the double glass doors leading into
the building. The lobby had an impressive water garden, but other than that, it
appeared to be occupied by professional offices, not restaurants.
                “Collins,”
I said, “where’s the restaurant?”
                Collins
licked his lips nervously and said, “Um, actually, we’re not here for the
restaurant.”
                I
stopped walking and stood facing him. “Then where are we going?”
                “Remember
I said we needed to meet someone in order for us to have this relationship? In
order to try to make it work?”
                “I
thought we were meeting them for dinner,” I said.
                “We
were, we are, but first, we have to meet them here.”
                “Why?”
I asked.
                Collins
let out an exasperated breath and said, “You sure have a lot of questions all
of a sudden, Sweetie.” He pulled me in and kissed me on the lips, a soft, but
firm reassuring kiss that hinted at something a lot sexier and wild to come.
“Just trust me, Sam, meeting this person before dinner, will be worth it.”
                “Worth
it, huh?” I teased, stepping up to him and nearly plastering myself to him.
                There
were a few people in the lobby, but I didn’t care. If Collins wanted to play
some kind of game with me, then I’ll play it right back at him. If he wanted to
be secretive about this whole thing, especially when it came to something
involving us, then I can keep things from him, too.
                “Sam,”
Collins said, peeling my arms off of his shoulders and setting me chastely in
front of him so he can lead me to the elevators. “I don’t want to keep anything
from you, but under the circumstances, this has to be an as-you-know situation.
And it’s nothing to worry about.” He kissed my forehead again and said against
my cheeks, “Please, Sam, trust me. I need to get your trust on this. I need to
know that you can have some kind of faith in me and our relationship.”
                Collins
was serious then, and his beautiful blue eyes held my hazel ones, directly and
intensely, strong, but pleadingly soft at once. My heart went out to him,
seeing how he was suddenly so nervous, he was uncharacteristically quiet. He
licked his lips again, and I realized he was waiting for me to make the first
move.
                I
gently reached out for his hand and held onto it with mine and said, “Come on,
then. Don’t want to keep our guest waiting.”
                Collins
nodded, leading me to the elevators.
                Once
inside the elevator, Collins pressed the button for the top floor. We stared at
each other as the elevator door closed, noting that there was no one else in
the elevator besides us. We still had our hands together, and as soon as the
doors closed, Collins’ hands left mine and traveled to the back of my waist.
With one single lift, he had me against the wall of the elevator, my legs
straddled around his waist before he crashed his mouth hungrily over mine. His
hands roamed around my back, while he held me in place with his weight, and
stroked my tongue with his. His need for me was so intense, and my need to have
him fill me, made me tighten my legs around him while I tried to untie his tie
and unbutton his white shirt.
                I
wanted to open up his shirt and kiss the beautifully golden warm skin of his throat
and then his smooth bare chest. I wanted to run my hands all over his muscular
chest and down to his rock hard abs, down his pelvic V, and further so I can
feel how much he wanted me. Pressed against me so tightly against the wall, I
could feel him, pulsing against me, enlarged with need. “Sam,” he breathed into
my mouth. “I
