Gargoyles of Darkness are back where they belong on the Planet Darktess.’
â€˜ You are the hero, Edwina Pilkington,’ the Keeper of the Four Stones said. ‘You truly are an amazing little witch. It’s been an honour to have been able to help you, but now it is time I went home as my work is done. You no longer need me.’
â€˜Before you go, I will give you the skeleton key. I know it will be safe with you, Keeper of the Four Stones.’
â€˜I will guard the key with my life.’
â€˜I will miss you,’ said Edwina. She raised the Four Blue Stones that were in her hand into the air. The stones began to glow and slowly the four-legged giant began to disappear into a cloud of smoke, returning back to the land of the Blue Stones.
Thirty-four began to oink; he wanted to go home too.
â€˜You’re right, Thirty-four,’ Aunt Ada said. ‘It’s time I took both my heroes home.’
Edwina picked up Thirty-four and walked over to stand close to Aunt Ada. ‘Let’s go home. After all that has happened today, I just remembered it’s your birthday tomorrow, Edwina,’ Aunt Ada said. She waved her hand and they all disappeared in a puff of smoke, back to Stone Castle.

'H appy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Edwina, happy birthday to you. Blow out the candles, Edwina,’ Gabriella said, ‘and make a wish.’
Edwina took a deep breath and blew out her ten birthday candles and made a wish.
    â€˜Open my present first !’
Edwina opened Gabriella’s present. ‘Wow! Professor Frogsley’s First Year Book of Computer Magic . Thank you, Gabriella, I love it.’
Thirty-four brought Edwina over a turnip and dropped it in her lap.
â€˜Thank you, Thirty-four. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with a turnip.’
Gabriella giggled. ‘Maybe you can use it in your next potion.
â€˜This present is from your father and I hope you like it.’
Edwina quickly untied the ribbon from around the present. ‘Look, Gabriella, my own witches diary. Thanks, Mum and Dad. I can’t wait to start writing all my secret spells in the diary.’
â€˜Let’s cut the cake,’ Gabriella said.
Suddenly, the loud thunder and the lightning started flashing across the room.
â€˜I know it’s not about to rain,’ Gabriella said.
â€˜It’s Aunt Ada coming,’ Edwina giggled.
    â€˜Happy birthday, Edwina.’
    â€˜Thanks, Aunt Ada.’
â€˜I have a special letter, for a Miss Edwina Pilkington, all the way from Professor Frogsley’s School of Computer Magic.’
Aunt Ada handed the letter to Edwina. Edwina quickly opened the letter and began to read it out loud.
Miss Edwina Pilkington has been accepted into Professor Frogsley’s School of Computer Magic. Your first school term begins in the summer. Please contact the Head Witch, Professor Goodspell, for further details.
A special congratulations from the Witches Council for defeating Gorum and his evil gargoyles.
    Signed
    The Witches Council
Edwina screamed with excitement, ‘I’ve done it! I’m actually going to Professor Frogsley’s School of Computer Magic!’
â€˜I’m going to miss you, Edwina. I will have no one to walk to school with.’
â€˜Don’t be silly, Gabriella, it’s during summer vacation.’
â€˜That’s okay, then. I can look after Thirty-four for you.’
Thirty-four oinked – that sounded like fun .
â€˜Let’s cut the birthday cake and then we can have some ice-cream,’ Lady Lilly Arna said, ‘but before we do, I have a letter for Gabriella. It’s from the Old Potter’s Law Firm in Rainbow City. Would you like me to open it for you, Gabriella?’
    Gabriella nodded .
Gabriella didn’t want to hear from the Old Potter’s Law Firm, so she held onto Edwina’s hand really tight. It would mean that they would want to send
