DARK DESIRE (snowed in with the billionaire #2) (billionaire erotic romance)
But out there…”
“I meant you, Steph. You’re beautiful and
deadly.”
Stephanie smiled. She liked hearing that.
Considering the circumstances of the weekend and her life, it was
romantic.
“The woman in the reflection of the window
is beautiful,” Nathaniel said. “So beautiful that it makes my heart
ache. It takes my deepest needs and brings them to life.”
“Is that what makes me deadly?” Stephanie
asked.
“Hardly,” Nathaniel said. His right hand
left her body and went to her hair. As he moved her hair to one
side, it brought back flashes of erotic memories as he had done the
same thing up in the bedroom the night before. He kissed
Stephanie’s neck, once, then at her ear. “You’re deadly because
you’re exactly what I need for my company.”
    “Is that so?”
“I read all your reports last night.”
Stephanie stiffened. Her reports were in her
bag, her personal belongings. She turned her head and was greeted
with Nathaniel’s tender lips. She thought about all the places on
her body those lips had touched. It made her moan. Her mind
couldn’t focus on anything but Nathaniel. He had become, over the
course of one wild night, her everything.
“I wanted to see what you were going to
present,” Nathaniel said. “It’s great work. Diversifying.
Expanding. Going back to more basics to become more complicated. At
a time when everyone focuses on their own needs, you’re focusing on
mine.”
    “HanAn’s…”
“Mine,” Nathaniel said. “It’s all mine, just
like you.”
Nathaniel sighed and looked out the window.
His face looked deep in thought. He breathed so calm, relaxing, it
left Stephanie feeling as though she wanted to go back to
sleep.
“Do we have power yet?” Stephanie asked.
“There’s food. Coffee. We’ll be okay.”
    “But I…”
“Get changed,” Nathaniel said. “Join me for
coffee, food, and talk. I want to hear the words of a future
executive. On a business matter.”
Nathaniel backed away. Stephanie spun around
and realized that Nathaniel was dressed. He stood in a different
suit from the day before, fresh shirt, fresh tie, same old
chiseled, sexy looks.
He was moving and Stephanie couldn’t speak
to him.
    Future executive?
Just what exactly did that mean?
Nathaniel stopped and looked over his
shoulder.
“The storm isn’t over yet, Steph. A little
calm before another round of snow and wind. Just thought you should
know that. Sometimes things look safer than what reality has
waiting.”
With that said, Nathaniel walked away for
good.
As Stephanie repeated the words in her mind,
looking back to the window, to the snow, to the beautiful, calm
scene outside, she wasn’t sure if Nathaniel had actually been
talking about the weather.

Stephanie changed. The room and lodge were
getting colder, again, by the minute. She wore the sweatshirt from
the day before, feeling bad about it, but she needed to. As she
rubbed her arms, her teeth chattered a few times. Stephanie found a
hat and a pair of gloves she had packed and took them with her. She
hoped they were going to talk near the warm fire but that was all
up to Nathaniel.
As she took the steps, smiling, appreciating
the sun coming up and lighting the otherwise dark lodge, she began
to realize that perhaps she would be dealing with a different
version of Nathaniel Anders right now.
Yesterday, Nathaniel had been mysterious and
sexy. His stare commanding, his body addicting. His touch perfect
and opening Stephanie’s body physically and emotionally. Last
night, Nathaniel had his secret revealed, being the billionaire CEO
of HanAn, meaning he was Stephanie’s boss. But that didn’t stop his
sexual need or command, his desires coming to life, evening in the
cold and darkness.
But now… It was a new day.
    It was morning.
They had each other’s bodies the night
before in everyway possible.
Stephanie reached the landing and looked to
the front door of Wolf Top Lodge. That’s where it had
