in southwestern furniture and painting on the walls. It looked like a very upscale apartment on the inside, while she knew it looked like a warehouse on the outside. No one could tell there was this beautiful place on the inside. She looked around at the huge pit of comfortable furniture in the middle of the room. It made an L shape and was turned to look at an enormous television that hung on the wall with a fireplace underneath it. She longed to sink into it and fall asleep, but Noah pulled her through an arch and down a hallway. On the left, they passed a big bathroom she peeked into, once again decorated tastefully. At the end of the hallway, there were two doors, one on the left and one on the right. Noah stopped outside of the one on the left and motioned to the door.
“That is Dallas and my room, yours will be here. Feel free to knock on our door whenever you want. I suspect Dallas will want the doors open so he can keep his eye on you.” Noah said grinning down at her. She was smaller when they were standing close to her. He was going to have to be careful she looked like she was ready to break. He longed to pull her into his arms and take away all of the pain and troubles, but unfortunately, she was not ready for that yet.
Bailey nodded and waited for the man to open the other door for her. She was a guest, after all, and felt out of place here. This place was three times as big as her apartment and way nicer. She was a little afraid of breaking something. Noah opened the door for her and motioned her in. Her eyes were drawn to the huge princess poster bed that was the centerpiece of the room and was directly across from her door. The canopy was gold and pink, and the comforter on the bed matched all, calling to her to come and sink into its softness. She noticed a chaise to the left of the bed situated in a corner, and on the same side two matching dressers, one with a mirror that took up practically the whole wall, the other was tall with a million drawers in it. Bailey smiled and thought to fill those dressers with clothes would cost her at least a few years of salary. To the right of the bed there was a wall of glass that looked out into a garden of sorts. When she looked at it closer, she could see a freestanding tub in the center of the little room, surrounded by flowers and exotic plants. She had never seen anything like this, even in the movies.
Her ceiling had skylights over half of it. She bet at night it was an awesome sight. There was an empty walk in closet and a small entertainment area opposite of the bed and upon closer examination; she saw the closet led to an adjoining bathroom that looked like it led to the guy"s room. She would never have to leave her room. Noah smiled and pointed out all of the cool things they had designed into the room. An intercom system and also security, though he said Dallas would explain that. He was watching her expression and when Bailey OH"d and Ah"d, she was rewarded with his grin.
They heard the door open in the living room and Noah excused himself, muttering he would send in Calli. He seemed a little upset to be leaving her.
Bailey stood in front of the mirror above the flat dresser looking at her reflection. What a mess! There was no way these men were attracted to her. She looked like a drowned rat, her normally curly bouncy hair hung lifelessly around her head. She had small cuts from the window exploding all over her face. Her shoulder had a hump from the dressing the nurse had done just before they left the hospital. Quasimodo at her best, she thought.
Bailey saw a figure standing her doorway and gasped when she looked at the exotic creature before her. Well if her appearance bugged her when she was alone, then when this picture perfect woman came in, her ego took a really big hit. She had to be involved with one of the guys, heck she was straight and she wanted her. She had short, spiky, electric blue hair, framing a long magnificent face. When she drew
