look
comes across Michelle’s face.
“Michelle?” Brandon asks as he sees the
expression on her face. She puts up one hand as she tries to get
her thoughts straight.
“Please, Brandon, I am trying to
concentrate.”
    - Go ahead, Michelle. Tell him what
happened. –
    - Okay, Destiny. –
-Um, where are Chris and Sandy. –
    - Still asleep, dead to the world. –
    - How…oh, never mind. –
    - Something wrong? –
    - No… Nothing you need to worry about, Miki.

    - Oh, okay. –
“So…” Brandon says anxiously. “What happened
out there?”
    “Brandon, please,” Michelle says heatedly.
“My mind has been taxed a bit. Destiny has gone through some
traumatic experiences.”
    “Oh?”
“The beast that we’re looking for was out
there tonight.”
“WHAT?!?” Brandon asks. He looks over at me
as I rub my jaw.
“Calm down, Brandon,” Michelle says as she
twirls her unruly curls. “He knows that I know his identity. He is
unadulterated evil. There is no good left in him.”
    “But what happened to Destiny?”
“Her jaw was shattered by the beast.”
    “How?”
I look at Michelle and send her the info to
answer Brandon’s question right away.
“Destiny, the best that she can remember,
tells me that as she was trying to subdue the beast, she was hit by
a backhanded fist of the beast. She, then, slammed into the wall of
the hotel face first, shattering her jaw in the process.”
    “What’s next?”
    - Michelle we need to awaken Chris and
Sandy. Then, we need to contact our superiors. We need backup.
Badly. -
“Huh? Destiny? Oh, okay,” Michelle says aloud
before turning to look up at Brandon. “Sorry, Brandon, Destiny was
giving me some instructions. I have something I need to do right
quick. Well, help Destiny with.”
    “Oh, okay.”
Michelle crossed her little legs and, then,
closed her eyes to concentrate, but not too hard, as to fry their
brains. She boosts the power of my psychic link with the two.
    - SANDY! CHRIS! GET UP AND COME TO ME!
NOW!
It comes across to them two of them that I am
shouting in their brains. Hopefully, they respond rather quickly.
And to my amazement, they actually do.
Being that I am in the same room as Sandy,
makes it easier for her to get to me faster than my hubby. Sandy
lifts her head and immediately sees me lying on the ground. My
nightie is torn, the whole right side of my face is swollen, the
side of my jaw which slammed into the hotel wall.
I am moaning as blood streaks out, in small
trickles, of my mouth and right ear onto the carpet and my nightie.
There are bruises and scratches all over my body. There is dried
blood on my feet as well. Not my blood, thank God.
Within a matter of moments, Sandy is by my
side.
    “Des, what happened?”
I look at Sandy and motion for her to put her
hand on the swollen part of my face. I know that it’s going to
hurt. My twin hesitates. I know that she does not want me to hurt.
I give her an intense look and motion again and add the motion of
now by pointing my finger down rather harshly.
With a look of uneasiness and confusion, she
looks at me as Chris bursts into the room.
    “Where is she?” he asks.
I wave my hand as Sandy begins to touch my
right, very swollen cheek.
“Sandy, don’t!” he screams. I shake a finger
at him and he sees it. Chris jerks back in confusion. “You want her
to…?”
I shake my head yes as I wince when the pain
hits.
“Hold still or its going to hurt worse,
Des.”
    - Sorry. – I mentally project into
Sandy’s head.
“Look, it’s okay. Please, be still. Still not
used to this yet.”
    - Alright. –
I feel the healing energies flow from her
hand into my jaw. The bone begins to mend itself, but I see Sandy
struggling with it. The exhaustion on her shows rather quickly.
“Des, I…I…can’t…do it,” she mutters as she
falls to the ground with both hands on the ground as she catches
her breath. Sweat pours from Sandy’s brow. “It…it’s too much.”
