twisted his face away and pushed at Jamie's hips. Jamie let go of Micah's thighs and grabbed his face with one hand, turning it back. He said nothing but stared into Micah's eyes, which were wide at first and then got darker, sleepy, sensual.
Jamie smiled and kissed him again as they rocked together. Micah's mouth was sweet, delicious, and when Jamie whispered, "You're better than candy," Micah started laughing.
He wrapped his arms around Jamie and kissed him over and over. "Don't stop."
"Never," Jamie groaned, already starting to shake. "Never, never, never, beautiful Micah." The bed squeaked beneath them, Micah's body was taut and hot, and when Jamie came it felt like every dream, every fantasy, every wish was fulfilled by this boy in his arms.
For some minutes afterwards neither of them said a word, only held each other. Jamie played with Micah's sweat-damp hair. "How do you feel?"
"Good. Good. Happy. A little sore," he added with a slight laugh.
"Yeah. Sex'll do that." Thumb across Micah's lips, and Jamie smiled with Micah gave it a small kiss. He got out of bed long enough to throw out the condom, and got back under the covers and Micah wrapped himself around him, kissing along his neck.
"I'm glad it's you," he said sleepily.
Jamie kissed his forehead. "So am I. Go to sleep, sweetheart."
Micah opened his eyes long enough to smile at him one more time, snuggled against his shoulder and quickly was asleep.

When Leo had said, "I want you to meet my kid," Ben had assumed Leo meant an actual child or at least a teenager--not the stunning young man who shook his hand. "Hi, I'm Dune."
"Hi," Ben said, "Hi--I didn't think--I expected somebody younger."
Dune smiled at him. "You hear that, Dad? I'm too old for him."
"I promise that's not my intention at all," Leo said from the kitchen.
"No, I mean, I thought you meant a, um, child." He held his hand low to indicate someone of small stature. "And I like kids--not in a scary way, of course, because that would be evil and wrong--" He sighed. Dune was still patiently smiling. "Hi," Ben said, deciding to start over. "I'm Ben."
"I'm Dune," Dune said again, laughing. "Very nice to meet you."
"Very nice to meet you, too. Okay. Awkward social situation over."
"It's erased from my mind." Dune handed him a champagne flute. "Hibiscus?"
    "Um--"
"Champagne and cranberry juice," Leo explained, pouring both into the glass. "Very good with brunch."
"Brunch," Ben said. "Cool." He drank a sip, and stepped out of the kitchen to allow other guests to get their drinks as well. Leo had set up the dining table for six in the sun room, which was decorated with spring flowers. Ben counted off: himself, Dune, Leo, Adam--Leo's longtime companion--and the two women he didn't know.
    Yup. Setup.
He sighed and drank more of his hibiscus, which was very good for a drink with a silly name.
"I want to apologize for my dad," said Dune, joining him in the sun room. "He wants me to settle down."
"It's okay--my mom drops hints along the same lines all the time."
"I tell him I'm only twenty-five: it's far too soon to even think about settling down. Of course, then he reminds me he was twenty-three when I was born, and off we go. It's almost like a bit now."
"I was married," Ben said and gulped the rest of his drink. "I'm never doing that again."
    Dune stared. "Married? Really?"
"Yup. Married at twenty-one, annulled at twenty-three."
"Well, nobody's ready to get married at twenty-one. Wow." He shook his head and sipped his drink. "Do you and your ex still--talk?"
"Yeah, a lot. We're still friends."
"Interesting," Dune said. "The closest I've done to commitment is the guy I dated in college for two years. I suppose I've got a kind-of steady now, but we're not really boyfriends, in the usual sense."
    "What are you, then?"
"We're...a back-up plan. I go with him to a lot of his company functions, mostly."
    "And the sex?" Ben said.
    Dune smiled. "It's not bad."
    "Who needs a boyfriend,
