cheek.
"You're welcome, Royce." She said with a smile. 'At least she's not calling me Shiloh.' He silently thanked God for that.
He decided to check the morning shows, so he went into the living room and hit the power button on the remote for the Flat Screen TV.
"... and in other News, in spite of a sizable reward for any information, there are still no leads as to the identity of the burglar known as the Steel Cat." On the monitor, they showed a picture of a man in dark gray cargo pants, boots, windbreaker, and ski mask with mirrored goggles hiding his eyes. "The Cat has become something of a folk hero already, since both of his victims have been since linked to corruption in the government and a high priced prostitution ring."
Royce smirked at that. 'You're welcome.' He said silently to the city at large. It had been simple to break into the safes of the two City Councilmen, and even simpler to get the evidence of their misdeeds.
One Councilman, Hanigan, who frequented high class strip clubs and paid for sex, in spite of having a beautiful wife at home, had issued a blanket apology to his constituents, but had been forced to resign under a cloud.
The second Councilman, King, had been taking bribes for construction contract negotiations, and while it wasn't as personally damning as the prostitutes, had in effect killed his career, as well as criminal charges being leveled against him.
Royce allowed himself a wider smile. "I like that guy." He said as he raised his coffee cup.
    "Who? The Cat?" Tam asked.
"Yeah. He's got style." He looked at her and shrugged. "I mean, I'd like to catch him in the act, but I'd probably just shake his hand."
Tam grinned at him. "So would I, honestly. It's not often that a cat burglar looks out for the little guy like that."
'Umm, I just did it because I hate corrupt politicians.' Royce wanted to say it, but kept it quiet. "Yeah, that's kind of refreshing." He agreed with her.
Tam noticed the way he moved. Graceful and silent. He made no sound as he crossed the tile floor in his bare feet, walking heel to toe on the outsides of his feet. He did it so naturally, too. She admired his sleekly muscled torso, arms, and legs as he moved. 'Like a leopard.' She thought as she felt her pussy begin to get wet.
She plated their breakfast. "Come and get it, stud." She called to him as she set their plates at the breakfast counter and gave him a fork.
"Stud, huh?" Royce grinned and pulled her to him for a quick kiss.
"Baby, last night was amazing, wonderful, and all around fantastic!" Tam blushed as she remembered how he'd made her feel. For the first time in over six months, she felt like she deserved to be loved like that! Dumping Darnell had been the smartest thing she'd ever done, in spite of the injuries they'd both suffered in the ensuing fight with her ex.
"Ow." Royce muttered as he chewed up a bite of eggs. "Need some aspirin. Are you ok, babe?" He asked her as he got up.
"I'm fine, baby. Here, I'll pour you some OJ." She got up too and grabbed the carton of Orange Juice from the fridge.
"Thank you, Tam." Royce laughed quietly for a moment.
"What are you laughing about, Mr. Man?" Tam asked with an inquisitive smirk.
"Just two days ago, if anyone had predicted this, I would have told him or her that they were crazy." Royce grinned at her.
"What? You mean us?" She asked, handing him his glass of OJ. He popped the aspirin and glugged it, then set down the glass before answering.
"Well, yeah. I mean, I always liked you as a friend, and yesterday as something more than a friend. Then the whole situation with your ex..." Royce shrugged.
"I know, baby. I'm so sorry he hurt you." Tam hugged him close, stroking his back as his arms went around her shoulders.
"It was better than the alternative." Royce whispered, knowing that she knew what he was talking about.
"I guess. I'm still sorry you got hurt because of me." She whispered back.
"Hey, look at me." He said as he backed up a half
